Quality & certification
Material is only worth what its documentation can prove. Every order states the certification level it is placed on, and the material is delivered with it — not with a promise to follow it up.
Certification to EN 10204
Type 3.1 — supplied as standard
An inspection certificate issued by the manufacturer’s own authorised representative, independent of the manufacturing department, carrying the actual test results for the heat supplied. This is the basis products are supplied on, not an extra to be asked for.
Type 3.2 — arranged where required
An inspection certificate countersigned by an independent inspection body or by the purchaser’s own representative. Arranged in cooperation with the applicable inspection authority where a project, a notified body or an end client requires the release to be witnessed.

Positive material identification
PMI on alloy, stainless, duplex and nickel alloy items, reported per piece or per heat as the order specifies.
Non-destructive testing
Ultrasonic, radiographic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle examination, to the acceptance criteria named in the enquiry.
Traceability
Heat and lot numbers carried through from the mill certificate to the marking on the piece and to the packing list.
Third-party inspection
Coordinated through TÜV, Bureau Veritas, SGS, DNV, LRQA and RINA, subject to project requirements. Release notes issued against the inspection release certificate.
